COMMUNITY

THE CHANDLEY INITIATIVE

The Chandley Initiative, named after current NBS President Jim Chandley, started in 2025 as an initiative dedicated to encouraging our employees, Members, and Vendor Partners to give back to their community.


Our Mission is to empower our employees to make a positive impact on communities through meaningful volunteer opportunities, fostering a culture of service, teamwork, and social responsibility within the organization.


We believe in the power of collective impact and are always looking for meaningful ways to support and collaborate with organizations and nonprofits that share our mission of making a positive difference. We would love to explore opportunities to work together, whether through joint volunteer efforts, shared community events, or other initiatives that can amplify our mission.

Tarrant Area Food Bank

In 2025, we spent multiple days at the Tarrant Area Food Bank sorting over 35,000lbs of food, accounting for over 25,000 meals that were distributed to the greater Tarrant County area.

The Ronald McDonald House

In May 2025, some of our NBS Staff volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House by cooking with the head Chef and serving lunch to the Ronald McDonald House guests.
